I don't believe it!
Quickest I would have thought id flying, cheapest is coach. Take the train as it is faster than driving or coach and not as expensive as flying.

domme me
national express is good.
If you wanted to chance it you could put a request on gumtree rideshare

The train is around 6 1/2 hour plus journey, and will cost you just under £100.

Cheapest way = Megabus
Quickest way = plane

poggle_63
If you can book in advance the train can be as cheap as the coach, if it is a last min thing the coach would be cheapest.

ME666ME
Try city linking

srracvuee

I can assure you that the cheapest way is to go to a car auction
buy a car with maybe 1 month MOT & tax, insure for 1 week,
if thats how long you intend to stay,or 1 day !! When you are
ready just sell the car to cover your fuel & insurance costs.
There you go free trip!!!
