It's not "cold", per se, but it won't be Florida weather. In the summer, it won't often get over 80 degrees F, and it'll probably stay in the 70's.

But there have been warming trends lately, so you can also take that into consideration...

i went to london last summer and the weather was a moderate temp not to hot not to cold i suggest a jacket no shorts but t-shirts are good hope it helps

-ps london rocks enjoy yourself

no one can honestly say what the weather is going to be like now let alone the summer,i wish we could, the UK is a country where you can get all four seasons in one day, (spring) (summer) (Autumn) (winter) so when you come over bring clothing for all the four seasons, would be the best idea, but i am sure you will have a good holiday no matter what the weather is over hear

The weather varies alot in the UK, but in the summer it can get very warm, in London in the summer even if its raining it can still be fairly warm.

Hope you have a good time

I suppose compared to Jamaica it's cold but it's not cold by our standards. In summer it can get breezy, cloudy and even showery but that's what keeps it so green. It can also get very very hot especially around July/August so you should definitely bring some summer dresses, sunglasses and sandals.

This year, we've been predicted an average summer. So, sunny and hot sometimes and wet and cold others.
Seeing as you'll be in a massive city, I can guarantee you that you won't be cold because of all the heat coming from the cars, tubes, buses and buildings!
Have a good trip :)

Angel
London can get very hot during the Summer.

The weather and temperatures in England can never be predicted with any certainty, this far in advance of the summer months (or any other time of the year - last week, here in the Midlands it was 7C, then 3 days later it was almost 20C!).
Remember that we are a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean and subject to winds from all points of the compass.
Should we have strong winds from the Sahara, we can have temperatures in the high 20's (and sand over cars and washing!).
When the winds blow from Siberia, it gets very cold here.
When they come from the Atlantic, it rains!
The one thing we can (probably!) promise is that it will rain (usually!) sometime during your visit, so come prepared maybe with a packamac and small umbrella, plus a light sweater. Otherwise, jeans (or a summer skirt) and t-shirts
One thing you will enjoy especially if you are here in late June, are the long hours of twilight when, if the weather is good, it is possible to sit outside till well after 10.30 p.m., perhaps with a long, cool drink, and still not need any real lights.
There is a very old joke here, that the British Isles do not have a climate, we just have weather! Justifiably, the weather is always a topic of conversation!!

you will probably need wellies, rain mac and umbrella as it normally rains here every summer!

Yeah, it's normally about -6, so bring a sheepskin coat, thermal wear, brolly and snow skis, particularly around the august months, when blizzards can be quite severe.
