The Crown owns the land below the high tide mark, but it's not very good for camping because you get wet when the tide comes up. The land above the high tide mark is owned privately. If you can get permission from the land owner then there is not a problem however identifying the landowner can be difficult.

One place I could suggest is Shell Island in Wales:

The whole island is a campsite and the rules are fairly lax. Watch out for the scousers + kids though.

the best place i have come across is abbotsbury just west of weymouth,really relaxed for campers & the mackeral literally jump out of the water this time of year.

you can fish in any sea, you need a licence for any river though. uk that is.

Try Gorleston in Norfolk nobody seems to bother you on the beach but the fishing is crap

Alf Stewart goes to Summer Bay....not sure if he camp's though, you'd have to ask Graham Norton about that...he's the king of camp.

tou can here in scotland great fishing and it's free

That depends entirely on where you want to go as some beaches are private but most are "owned" by the local authority who may or may not allow camping or overnight stays on the beaches in their area.

north devon coast line is partically good for fishing

u can stay at your house and watch t.v and go to the internet or you could go camping outside your house...that could be fun...try it you'll never know what you can miss
