Devon and Cornwall are the best - I should know, I live there! Otherwise a city break, try youth hostels - yha.org.uk . Some of the hostels in the south west are great if you want to get away from the city. Try Perrenporth, Cornwall. |

Wales (a country in the UK like England is) its full of great beaches (if you like that stuff) or go to the Capital which is Cardiff and is the fastest growing city in the EU. The link below is my favourite beach and is in Wales.

You have not given us much to go on, like what you like and dislike, but if you like a bit of outdoor life then why not the Lake District? You can go youth hosteling for a very cheap Hol or if you have more cash, B&B, Flat, or the Holiday cottage. look up www.amblesideonline.co.uk Good luck |

I would recommend Oban, on the west coast of Scotland; there is great scenery, with lovely mountains close by, and it is easy to catch a ferry to explore some of the nearby islands.
There are some good pubs, and the local seafood is delicious. |

West coast of Scotland is the best place for a relaxing holiday the folk make you truly feel at home. Oban can be a base to stay and ferry's leave from there to the Western isles. |

Brighton is fun
Bath is beautiful.
Edinburgh (is that uk?) is a wonderful city.
Aldeburgh is a gorgeous place by the sea, rather elegant.
Glasgow (if you're into Rennie Mackintosh) is interesting. |
