That depends, did you actually purchase ticket for the uk lottery or were you informed of your winnings via unexpected email. If the latter I'd delete it and forget about it as it's probably a scam wanting money to forward your winnings.

We don't have Powerball - must be a scam

Have you purchased a ticket, because if you haven't then you haven't won anything!

Jacko
Did you buy a ticket for the lottery powerball in England somewhere? If not, I'd say you're getting scammed. Email them back that you found out they are a long lost relative of a dead billionaire and you want to wire them the money from the bank of Nigeria, all you need is a bank check for $500 to cover the wire fees.

Did you actually buy a ticket?? If so you need to call the number on the back of your ticket to claim your prize!
If you did not enter by buying a ticket then its probably a con!

idiotmen10
I think you won the lottery just being English, and living in England. I would give anything to live there, and not here!

'Er indoors!!
Take your ticket to your nearest lottery outlet, and they will scan it. If you have won a big amount, the machine will be able to tell you what to do next. If it's a big win, but not enormous, you may be able to cash it at a main post office, but if it's a very big win, you will have to send it to the address on the back to claim your prize.

I think it's a scam. We don't have powerball lotteries in the UK, it's an American thing.
