It will take about a week so the best bet is to get a fold -up bike and ride to and from the bus or train station.Otherwise meet 1/2 way

Not got a clue, but you must have some stamina if you think you can peddling for that long!

l'd just get the train, save your stamina for better things...LOL

38 hrs sound (south or souff) s good plus 3 hrs for ablution plus 6 for food plus 2 day extra to detour the UK potholes and mend punctures minus the amount gained by increasing speed to hasten your escape from suff nd. say say 5 to S X (6^)days, and perhaps a few hours in whitley bay to throw away your winter cloths ;so as to blend in on nights out binge drinking. good luck

The distance is 298 miles (shortest route) at 8 mph that equals 37 hours 15 minutes.
Assuming you would cycle for 9 hours per day that gives 4 days plus 1 1/4 hours on the 5th day.
