I have been living in Spain many years & been to many places in the country. I have not noticed that white being their dominant colour for houses.
On the contrary, many are pretty colourful in a ethnic way & very artistically adorned with old-fashioned ceramic tiles, formed into interesting patterns or story-telling pictures. |

Where I live there are a lot of houses painted in yeuchy colours EG. vibrant tan / old mustard, dark browny red.
Many are rendered, unpainted & have gone dark grey!
I often think if the local council came up with a scheme to buy job-lots of paint, the area would look considerably more attractive. Think there should be a choice of colour though! |

i think actually alot of hot countries paint their houses white not just Spain. Even in Goa. |

There are some in England that are pastel colours like pink and blue and of course white i think they are sooo pretty.
