It's anyones guess! My son posted my Mothering Sunday card (1st class) on 15th March 2007. I received it (no explanation or apology from Royal Mail) on 16th April 2007. Where had it been all that time?

If it was sent first class it should be the next working day, ie Saturday or the day after that, ie today. If it was sent second class it could be (at quickest) one working day but is usually around three days. Sometimes second class is as quick as first class. However, it depends on what your local postage service is like - I believe it takes longer in rural areas.

It should have been delivered on Sat. if it was first class, unless you posted it very late on Fri.evening, in that case it would have been delivered this morning.

OHHOHOHHHHHH well I sent a letter to a destination 25 miles away and it took 3 weeks.
I sent one 40 odd miles and it took 12 weeks,
I sent one 7oo miles away and it arrived in 2 days.

I can tell the question is a 'trick question'.

depends wether you sent it 1st or second class.

1st class would've arrived either today or tomorrow....depending on the time you sent it (before or after the postbox collection time)
