St Johns Wood , Maida Vale ( I already live here) , Kensington , Belgravia , Hampstead , Little Venice, Knightsbridge , Notting Hill/Holland park
St Johns Wood - Because it's a quite , mainly community area , and genuinely safe ,Nice houses too.
Kensington- Easy access to the high street , and a safe , and often wealthy area. Lots of short , narrow back streets with little Coffee shops and patisseries build up the community making it all the more "cosier"
Belgravia - I go to school here , So of course this would make my trip much shorter. I've learned that belgravia is home to luxiury and wealth . A very beautiful and highly protected area. Buying a property would be classified as the "unimaginable " to most.
Knightsbridge- Harrods being your corner shop is definitly something .The house are alway at high standards and only suited for the middle-class and above. What could be a better playground , or a better place for a stroll than Hyde Park?
Notting Hill / Holland Park - Anyone who has past Holland Park road must have surely spotted there dream home. Big white buildings , swimming pools inside , Luxiourious furniture and paintings - Who could ask for more? Each building is always large with roughly 4 floors each , a good size family house. Notting hill is very similar , With quite streets with lots of trees , waking up to only the sounds of little birds singing. |

I have lived in Docklands, Battersea, Clapham and West Norwood. I have to say that the people in West Norwood are so friendly and I know all my neighbours. I don't want to move to a less personal place in London where no one says hello and you can't trust anyone to wait in for a parcel or feed your cat. I love having the neighbours kids round and being invited to parties over Christmas. I just didn't get that nice community feeling from any of the other places I lived in London. I'm staying put. |

If money was no object to me I'd move the hell out of London seeing as I've lived there all my life! |

Richmond, I would live by the thames, because I like the river, you can get into the city in reasonable time, the houses are nice, lots of shops close by, and bars and restaurants on the river, Hampton court is close, and Richmond park, with the deers etc - or Surbiton for similiar reasons. |

IF money was no option, AND if i could have a house in this particular place, then i would say covent garden. I think it's a very interesting place which always has interesting people around there from all over the world. It would be a great place to meet people and make friends from all over the place. Or to just sit there and watch the world go by. Plus there is always entertainment there, and i love the little market. Plus it's not far from the theaters.
(fro the record i'm in cheshire) |

Clapham Common Northside or in the heart of Clapham Common Old Town.
I use to be a letting agent around the area and some of those houses on the Northside were amazing. If I had a spare couple of mil then thats where I would be. |

I'd live on Hill Street in Mayfair. My wife could walk to the shops. Everything is close at hand. Eaton and Belgrave Square are my second choice. I have been in houses in all these areas. Very nice.
(EDIT - Chester Square I am told is the most expensive - I have been in a house there also - for a job interview, next to Margaret Thatchers house). |

Russell Square, so many little parks surrounding the area and also central to everything. |

It's not a massively fashionable area, but I would probably go for Pimlico. It is right in the centre of things, but there are some quiet residential streets. I would like to be in the centre so I can walk everywhere, but don't want to live in bedlam! |

top of the gherkin, for the views and its away from the traffic, i would have a boat moored on the thames and do all my travelling on the river |

If I had a choice, I wouldn't live in London because everything is so expensive. But I do and I live in North Wembley (I can see the arch of the stadium from my house) and its a great little area. I wouldn't live anywhere else in London if I had to choose. |

I've lived in Blackheath on four different occasions. I would like to live there again as it's quiet with a huge heath & close to Greenwich Park.
However that was a long time ago & I've found it almost alarming, when passing through the south east of London more recently, to note just how run down & dirty the place has become. I'm also put off by the teen stabbings of recent years as i have three kids that I would bnot want to grow up in such an atmosphere. But if it must be London then Blackheath. |

Battersea because I grew up there, the park is the best in London, it's by the Thames and I like the power station and dogs/cats home.
The other choice is Dulwich village because it's also in south London and a really clean, quaint area with a lovely gallery I would spend all my free time at. I would raise kids there.
No tube stations which means the areas aren't overcrowded. |

Somewhere in Hampstead Garden Suburb, probably Winnington Road. It runs parallel to the Bishops Avenue and has similar houses but doesn't get the same amount of traffic. |

I would love to live in Ealing, my daughter lives there in a very quiet, clean area close to a shopping centre. :) |

Definitely Marylebone as I used to work there and haven't as yet had a chance to go back. I love the shops on Marylebone High Street and Paddington Street. Paddington Street Gardens is great, it is near Regent's Park and Baker Street is cool too. |

Either Camden, or Muswell Hill.
I would live in Camden for the culture, scenery and the market.
I would live in Muswell hill because the houses are huge and it is near the center. |

I am a born and bred eastender so I would probably choose to stay east. |

Either Camden or Shoreditch for the vibe, Islington for all the shops cafes and restaurants in easy reach or Mayfair for the outright opulence. |

I'd live in Camden, because it's full of interesting people, it's really busy, and the shopping there is great! |

Either Fulham - around fulham broadway, because its a nice area, really well located and great transport links and amenities.
Or Chelsea (just up the road from fulham..some where off the kings Rd or Fulham Rd) has all the above - but closer to city and westend, better shopping and is just quite a swanky place to live. |

There are many desirable residential areas in London. Hampstead; Belgravia; Mayfair; Holland Park...... each has its own merits. But recently, I have taken a liking to St James's Park. It is very quiet when the day is over. Good shops near by in Victoria Street; and very easy access to and from the West End. Very handy for late night out. |

I'd live in Hammersmith in the Irish area - love the irish, or I'd live in Chelsea, great shopping on the Kings Road, plus all my family are Chelsea fans so they'd love it! Richmond-upon-thames is also very nice and very pretty, but very expensive but you did say that money was no issue!! |

I'd live in Tredegar Square in Mile End.
It's a very beautiful Georgian square that always puts me in mind of last musical number in Oliver! It has the most beautiful houses yet is in theheaert of the east end. Victoria Park is less than half a mile away and Mile End station is 200 yards - its the perfect place. |
