England...for the weather basically.
No good having beautiful scenery and clean fresh air if its too cold to go out and enjoy it. |

1 we speak english
2 we have a better diet and live longer this is proven
3 the weather is better
4 we don't still do stupid religious things like the celtic v rangers football animosity - just cos ur a catholic and he's
a protestant
5 we get more sunshine and it is not so grey
i could go on forever - unless you want to live in a grey
dismal city on in the middle of nowhere in the freezing
cold - then its england

Scotland because I've lived there all my life. Yes, there are idiots - like everywhere else INCLUDING England. For the person who believes the Scottish a La Carte dining experience consists of a deep fried Mars bad, you've obviously never visited as I don't know a single place that actually sells them. Also, its people like you who encourage bad feelings between Scotland and England. Can I suggest you grow up at some point? |

I am part irish, so I guess I would go w/Scotland. As there isn't as much bad blood between them as England & Ireland. |

I would not care as long as I was happy. but I am sure you will get the usual answers putting down both country's from the loud mouth up starts |

Scotland is ok for trips to the highlands but England is a much better place to live, more things to see and do. Scotland has more poverty than England. |

I am English but I live in Scotland due to my job. Both countries have their pros and cons. Scotland has the highest teenage pregnancy rate, the most number obese people and they eat deep fried pizza's and mars bars. They are vary patriotic people who are very proud to be Scottish. They also are not very keen on the English.
Most English people dont know when St Georges day is(today) and they eat tripe and black pudding(cows innards), mind you the Scots eat Haggis!!
Both places are great places to live but I am English so I guess I have to say England. The football is better (Just) |

♥♥♥ ENGLAND ♥♥♥
And Why ...?
1) We have better weather ( unlike Scotland where it rains like almost every f****** day of the year ! )
2) We have better accents ( no offense to all you Scottish people but i can never understand what the bloody hell your saying ! You just mumble all the time )
3) The footie is better ... we have the PREMIERSHIP !!! ( who would you rather support ... teams such as - Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool ... OR ... crapy Scottish teams like Celtic, Aberdeen, Dundee *yawns*
♥♥♥ I luv you ARSENAL ♥♥♥
4) We have London ( wtf do you have ... ? F****** Edinbourgh ) LMAO
5) The guys here are sexier ( and thats a fact !!! )
6) We have more pubs ( my number 1 hobby - gettin p***ed )
7) We are very sociable people ( unlike some of you Scots who live on the top of some mountain in the middle of no where and socialise with people like once every 3 years !! )
8) We have the Queen. Not like we are proud of her or nothin. In my opinion shes a useless old women who sits in her palace all day drinking cups of tea.
9) We are the Rugby World Cup 2003 Champions ( i have to admit we've got worse at the game since then, but hey, WE STILL WON IT !!!
10) We have a sense of humor. Look at shows such as; Little Britain, The Catherine Tate Show, Only Fools And Horses, My Family, Jonathon Ross, Lenny Henry etc etc. Us English peeps like having a laugh. Whereas the only thing Scottish are intrested in is if their Kilts make their a*** look fat LMAO
11) My final point to put across ... We have nicer food. For example ... ya can't beat a good old English Breakfast, and then theres our lovely roast beef and yorkshire puddings or you could " just have a cup of tea " What do Scotsmen have ...? F****** haggis !! Now, i have to admit i don't entirely know what haggis is ... and to be honest i don't really give a f*** what it is anyways.
All i know is, Scotland is a terrible place to live so unless you are a shy, boring, miserable person ( unlike me :p ) DON'T move there !!! |

What about Wales then??????????????? |

England cos every scottish person I have met in my life has ended up being a trouble maker or an alcoholic. Sorry to any scottish people that are not like that, but thats my experience so far. |

England, where I do live, though for a brief time our children were at home (if we have any) I would move to Scotland for their University years (no tuition fees). England especially London and the Home Counties (those directly bordering on it) are the most ethnically cosmopolitan and diverse places in Europe if not the world and I cannot imagine working or living without the ever present cultural influences of every single continent on the planet. It is bliss. The upshot of this is also that it is the most tolerant and non judgemental place in Europe certainly. |
