No, because if you are there it would not be empty

honeysuckle
No. It would be busy with people walking and enjoying the fresh air. Very cold, but sunny morning

Ankleboots
i would have a very very very long walk to get to the beach and upon arrival not only would it be empty but dark too.

See you there

perhaps serious surfers on some beaches, along with many dog walkers and those wanting the fresh air. :)

Quizard
More than likely but i couldn't live much further from the sea in any direction.

Yes, because it's snowing here!!!!

Ben d Malteser
Even our Maltese beaches are too cold during these times, let alone beaches in Britain. So i'm guessing...yes! :)

Yes! It's about 38 degrees here and cold rain is falling. Only members of the polar bear club would dare to go to the beach on day like this. I miss Summer!

Mr S London (XLIII)
There would be Flotsam & Jetsam etc. lying on the Beach !

dipsy
yeah not many people go to the beach in freezing cold weather
