From the easyjet website:
What travel documents do I need to take with me?
Question
What travel documents do I need to take with me?
Answer
Passengers are required to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights including domestic services.
If you are unsure what constitutes a valid ID we recommend you contact our customer service department on 0871 244 2366 (calls cost 10p per minute; calls from mobiles and other networks may cost more) for further information. |

If you're journey is wholly within the UK, you'll be able to use your expired passport, provided it's less than 2 years out of date. My partner has flown from England to Northern Ireland on his expired passport twice without a problem. We flew with Jet 2. You should take both sets of ID with you, to be on the safe side. You should also contact the airline for confirmation, to ease your mind. |

I travelled with my driving licence to Scotland with Easy jet before but I think they have changed this since, it was about 4 years ago. You'd better check with them directly otherwise you might be disappointed if you can't go. |

If you are flying within the UK then there are no immigration checks because you are already in the country. Accordingly you will not legally need your passport. However, you will need identification to board the flight. Your photo driving licence should suffice but check with Easyjet as to what id theywill accept. |

If you are flying internally in the UK then probably okay but if internationally you are out of luck. Go to the UK Embassy and get a new passport as a rush--bring your plane tickets with you and two passport photos date stamped within the last 2 months. It will cost about GBP140 |

If your passport expired only within the last two years then you can still use that. Or you can use your provisional license. |

Yes, London to Glasgow (or anyother England-Glasgow flight) is a domestic flight so all you need is a form of photo ID, does not need to be a passport. |

Dont know about Easy jet but Ryanair wont accept one as photo id (between England and Ireland), so check their website and see if it says whats acceptable. |
