It is quite intense. It used to be that you wandered around on your own but now they have made it into more of a show. You get guided round in your group by various people dressed up and a performance of some kind takes place usually involving unwilling "volunteers" from the crowd. I took my five year old as I thought it would be fine but I can't believe they even admit under 10's. The poor girl was traumatised and won't even let me mention the word dungeon anymore. Most of it is in the pitch black and one room stays completely dark all the way through (sweeney todd room). It goes on for a good hour and a half until they release you into the gift shop. One word though - if you need the toilet, go before you start the tour as there are no opportunities to go once you start the tour. |

well, i hyped myself up for it to be really really scary,
so when i got in there, it wasnt as bad as I thought.
it is about an hour to an hour and a half long. it is a series of attractions/shows which are actually petrifying; it is better if you go in a group so you can freak each other out, or hold on to each other!
the ride is fun and the mirror maze, but the jack the ripper part is sooooo scary! i had a great time though and I'm sure you will too! |

its great book tickets on line so you jump the queues |

it's not too scary!
but enough to sort of get you all excited :)
theres nothing horribly gross!
you basically walk around, and theres actors pretending to be like peasants and things.
it's a good laugh!
it's definately worth going
(mind, it gets REALLY hot down there!)
and theres like little rooms about different things like jack the ripper and sweeny todd

Good fun, you get taken around in groups from room to room. Intersting to learn about some of the more grisly bits of london history too, e.g. sweeney todd and his barber shop, jack the ripper etc.
The ride was also closed when i went last year.
But get there early, to avoid the longest of the queues. We got there about 11am and queued for nearly an hour to get in. That is prob the worst bit of all the london attractions. |

Its like a waxwork exhibition, but the exhibits are a little gory. Not too scary for a 15 year old, I was about that age when I went. |

Yeah it's worth going, it's a good laugh and it's not scary at all. It's not like one of those attractions where you're in the dark with actors jumping out and coming close to you etc. One thing I would point out is that at some points they choose people to act out stuff or say lines or something so be prepared to stand your ground and say no if they pick you and you're very shy.
I can't tell you about the ride because it was closed when I went :( |

I''ve been there and it is a lot of money for what is, basically like all the attractions offered by the Merlin Group, it is overpriced, understaff, and all corner are cut.
There are so many FREE museum in London, it would be a shame to waste your money there...and I can already bet that your 15 year girl will find this boring.
Bring her to Harrods and have fun there, or go to a nice movie at the Electric Cinemas in Notting Hill. (Cinemas with Sofas and super comfortable)
Or go to a musical with your daughter...you sometimes have some very good deal on meal + ticket for not more that what you would pay for the Dungeon.
All the best
