I hope you are joking. Wax museum and horrible chain restaurants.

Have fish and chips (Geales) or Indian food..... or dim sum whatever....

Blech Planet Hollywood.

Try going out for day trip to Glastonbury/Avesbury.
Astral Travel is great company for day trips!

Try the Imperial War Museum instead too!

I certainly wouldn't bother with either. Overpriced and over hyped.
Go to the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, The Victoria and Albert, the Tate, Tate Modern etc. And find yourself a nice local proper restaurant (you can pretty much get anything - Chinese, Indian, Italian, Nepalese, vegetarian, fish and chips).
Try to avoid the chain restaurants and their exorbitant prices for plastic horrible food.

Madame Tussauds is ok. If you're visiting London then it would be sad to miss it, but remeber that it is just a static waxworks. The Planetarium next door is much better value for spending a wet afternoon..

If you want an experience that you can't get elsewhere then visit the London Eye, the National Gallery (Trafalgar Square), The Natural History and Science Museums (South Kensigton tubes), walk over the high level catwalks of Tower Bridge, the Tower of London.

Planet Holywood is just an over-rated over-priced hamburger cafe that's famous only because some Holywood actors (they're not gods whatever some dick-heads think) came to open it about 6 years ago and haven't come back since. If you eat there you'll come away bloated with ground hamburger meat (it includes fat, gristle and offal) and feeling too much lighter in your wallet. Give it a miss or the following day you'll think "so what was special about that?".

Eat at an Aberdeen Steak house or, better still, pick one of the excellent restaurants around Covent Garden.

Went last year and preferred The London Dungeon and also enjoyed a guided trip on the London Eye more than Madame Tussauds to be honest. Depends what takes your fancy though.

If you've not been to a waxwork museum before Madam Tussauds can be quite an interesting experience for you. Sweeny Todd.....ARGH Although i did'nt see JACK the RIPPER. But I was scared of going into Planet hollywood.

If you're going to Planet Hollywood, don't eat for several hours beforehand. The portions are HUGE!
If you want something that's a step away from burgers, try the Rainforest Cafe. Similar sort of thing, but the food is generally healthier, and with an animal theme instead of the movies.
Or, if you want a music themed restaurant, there's always the Hard Rock Cafe.
Madam Tussauds is OK, but is very expensive to get in, and the queue to get in is normally horrendously long.
If you like waxworks, you could always visit the London Dungeon. That now has several rides, as well as the waxworks. However, again, the queues are usually quite long to get in.

You can visit a wax museum and eat at PH in a lot of places.

See the historical sites and eat "local". It's a lot more fun.
