Yobs is a word that describes people who behave badly or anti socially. Usually young people would be described that way. Minor crimes like vandalism, and perhaps getting drunk, shouting out and maybe scrapping in public. That kind of thing.

Well you know you have "trailer trash" in the States.People of low intelligence, drink and drug abusers, are on State benefits, dress very cheaply, and commonly, get into drunken fights, rob people, commit various crimes, and are generally the "dregs" of society? Well in Britain, we have "chav's, and yobs. (And far too many of them ) Hope that gives you an idea of "yobs"
