In nightclubs in Britain, do people dance to the Queen's music?

or American music? I need to know because I'm visiting England for a week soon.
Additional Details
Queen's music = britain's national song, songs devoted to the Queen with the band playing, etc

we dont play the national anthem in nightclubs, no. we do however have nightclubs n bars that specialise in playing specific types of music for example mainly, indie, electro, r 'n' b, hip hop, dance etc etc....which would consist of mainly english and american artists.
some clubs even have three or more floors to them with a different kind of music played on each floor, hope this helps!

The National Anthem is only played when a member of the Royal Family attends an event such as the Royal Variety Performance or at the beginning of a sporting event. In Rugby if Scotland are playing they play "Flower of Scotland" instead of the National Anthem - God Save the Queen.

In nightclubs they play dance music or stuff you can sing along to and generally enjoy yourself to: Pussycat Dolls, Rhianna, Kaiser Chiefs, Killers, Beyonce, Kings of Leon etc. The UK music scene is a mixture of American and British musicians with a few Europeans thrown in.

I've been to America before and I've never heard the American National Anthem played in a bar or a club. I would find it a bit strange if people then danced to it. Don't you just stand there with your hand on your heart?

They don't play the national anthem in nightclubs. They mainly dance to British and American music.

SJM
Let me guess - you've never left America before?

As the answer above stated, this is not North Korea. We are a modern, first-world country with just as much freedom as America and we are not indoctrinated at every turn about how we must worship the Queen at all possible moments. We also live in the 21st century and listen to modern music, not brass bands. If you want to get a feel of the sort of music played in clubs today, try looking on the UK version of i tunes or listening to some of the more dance music based UK radio stations online, like London's Kiss FM.

"I need to know because I'm visiting England for a week soon"

If we say yes will you then be downloading 'God save the Queen' 'Rule Britannia' and 'Jerusalem' to practice your moves in time?

If this is the case, Yes:- Queen's music it is!

King Dedede
OMG. You aren't serious are you?

Real British people don't really give a damn about the Queen.

Are you serious?

I would love to see the reaction of clubbers in a nightclub if everyone was dancing away and then the next minute the DJ put God Save The Queen or Rule Britannia on?

A nightclub that plays national songs?Where are you from North korea or something?
So people have funny ideas about what goes on in other countries.

Want some pure English music ?Educate yourself in the ways of D`N`B not H.M.
