All regional accents are brilliant - yes even geordie - the put on posh accents from the public school chinless wonders is the worst . |

Scousers... the most irritating accent going and they all think they're bloody hilarious. I've worked with at least fifteen over the years and they all think they're the funniest thing on the planet.
All those who like or dislike the 'Scottish' accent, would you care to narrow it down a little? I'm from the northwest Highlands. I sound nothing like my fiance, who comes from Kintyre, and nothing like anyone in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee or Aberdeen.
Saying you don't like the Scottish accent is exactly the same as saying you don't like any accents between Birmingham and anywhere south of it. There are loads of different accents in an area that size, and Scotland isn't any different.
Incidentally, Geordies are sound. Quality accent.
Howay the Toon! Good luck in the stadium of Plight. |

It's what you say, not how you say it that counts my dear!
However, I must admit to a particular dislike of the 'Sarf' London accent. I, of course, am a BBC English man myself... |

Bristol accent is awfull. I quite like the scouse and geordie. Aberdeen is the hardest to understand. Dundonian is the most original using words any one 10 miles out of Dundee wouldn't know like Cundie |

As a foreigner can I not distinguish them that well, but what I really find extremely cute is the accent spoken in Yorkshire. Went there as an exchange student as a teenager and when love becomes something like "luv", then it sounds really cute. |
