Depends where your home is and what it consists of. |

depends where you are - in london it wont get you anything (£170,000+ for a one bedroom flat minimum/ £300,000+ for three bedroom house in most areas of anywhere vaguely near central London)
Ultimately it doesnt matter what your house is worth as if you sell you will have to buy another probably of an equal or greater value |

That amount would just about get you a council house here in Northern Ireland...the average price of a home here has now reached £200,000. 2 bedroom modern apartments start around £180,000. |

It depends where in England you are from, definetly not alot in London, you'd be lucky to get a flat for that price.
Preston in Lancashire, I'm not sure I dont think the price's of houses are very high up north. |

I live in Cheshire and that is really cheap, you would be lucky to find a home here at that price. |

Thats on the lower end of the scale, in the nice areas £130,000 will only get you a one bed flat but in average areas you could get a 3 bed terraced. |

Hello,
I think its a good value. It obviously depends on the size of the house and the number of bedrooms it has. I would think that if the area is generally good and the house is in good condition you would easily get that for a house in England. |

That will get you a 3 bed terraced house in Witham, Essex. |
