i dunno, but wales is really nice. just had to say that. i'm english but i lived in wales for a few years in carmarthen and pembroke, and it was nice. so that's not true about wales. most people were really nice too.

i haven't been to basildon for ages. so can't comment.

the ring road around london is the worst place in the uk now.

manchester was awful in the 70's.

i've been to way worse in other countries.

MissEssex
I live in Basildon, and its not bad, obviously some parts are "rough" but there are some very nice parts too. Where I live for instance is fine. But all towns and cities have good and bad areas. The good thing about Basildon is you can be in the capital of England in half an hour (by train) and by the seaside in 20 minutes (also by train) also thete are some very nice parks and open spaces nearby, so in my opinion, no Basildon isn't the worse place to live.

pinksparklybirdy
Corby, Northants is the worst place I've been during the past 6 months travelling with my job.

Marvinator
I don't see where the eating of Coco Pops Cereal makes a place bad.

I do, however, have a problem with someone who judges people as a group based on a single stereotypical fact.
