I lived in Harrow for 23 years. The crime there is bad, when I was there I new people involved in guns and drugs. Street robbery and car jacking is a daily occurence. It is posh up around Harrow school, which is probably why some of the previous answers say it is nice. But there are areas you should maybe just be more careful around. Harrow met tube station can be bad, had a friend stabbed there. He was only 15..he died. Im not trying to scare you, Im just telling you what my life in Harrow was like. Personally leaving there was one of the best things I ever done.

Wouldnt say the posh area is that safe, we used to find the Harrow school boys to beat them up. I know thats not nice but that was life in Harrow.

No - unless you have loads of money to live in the exclusive parts of Harrow on the Hill. Otherwise its crowded, dirty and has a high crime rate xxxx

I know someone who recently bought a house there and she likes it. But I can't say from personal experience. One nice thing is that the Tube goes to Harrow so you can easily get in to central London.

Yes it is and quite posh. My cousin lives there. The GPs and other services are not over burdened

I was born near Harrow. I love the area personally, nice shops and bars. You could do a lot worse! Convenient for central London too.
