Of course it is. There will be loads of people about so no need to worry.

SORRY ABOUT THE SILLY ORANGE BADGE - I DIDN'T WANT IT AND I CERTAINLY DIDN'T EARN IT !

Flup
It's perfectly safe; there will be plenty of people around.

Yes, it should still be busy - You'll be in the tail end of the rush hour and there should be quite a few people around. I'd feel perfectly safe making that trip.

DANIEL W
I often travel home at that time, never had a problem.

I've never had the slightest problem on the Tube, and I've been on the train at far crazier hours than 7-8pm! You'll be fine...

Of course it will be safe, it won't be as manic as rush hour but there will still be people coming home from work so it will be fine. The tube is fine, i've never had trouble and i've travelled at all hours.

Global Geezer
Yes you will be fine. Just take the normal 'big city precautions' such as no showing off your valuables, and being aware of people around you. The tube will be pretty busy at that time of the evening, and there are CCTV cameras around, so you will be well protected, and Euston to Swiss Cottage is fairly central and the two fairly close together, so the journey won't be all that long. London Underground is very safe.

b'stardoh
Yes the Tube is safe. There's a HELP button on every platform if you need to talk to a member of staff about anything.

It's very safe. Many people travel the tube all times of day, when it's running of course, especially after seven. I've personally traveled it many times after seven.

Paul
Yes

Yes, it's perfectly safe. The Tube is well-lit and probably still fairly busy at that time. Your journey from Euston Square to Swiss Cottage will be a relatively short one (and, by the way, it should only involve one change, at either Baker Street or Finchley Road).

You should still take precautions against crime such as remaining vigilant and being sensible about where you go, but no more than you would ordinarily take. The Tube is not some dangerous dungeon - you might be overestimating the risk.
