Is RYANAIR a reliable airline?

Jose Jose
probably just as good as any other

I always use Ryanair for my European breaks, and it has always got me there and back more or less on time. Use the on-line check in, only use carry on luggage and drink a coffee before the flight (which are normally less than 2 hours anyway), and you only pay the basic sticker price. I know I'm going to get treated like a baby cow in a veal lorry, but I get to see Europe on the cheap. You get what you pay for. Expect little and you won't be disappointed!

You can rely on them to get you safely up in the air and down again but you usually land 70 miles from the City you wanted to visit. check the small print and have a look at how far the airport is from your final destination.

They are cheap(although look out for hidden charges like baggage and the like) .
I have flying with Ryanair numerous times over the last 10 years and have had no problems

****
I have never had any problems with them. Not much comfort but cheap and gets you there in one place.

Barbaratus
Ive never had any problems with them. neither have anyone i know. They are cheap as well :)

Adzi
Taxi driver was telling us a few weeks ago on our way back from holiday that half of the people he has love them others hate them and will never go with them again

There good when there on time and everything but when theres a problem there catastrophic

yes they are but unfortunately reliable to the point were you expect the service you pay for!

In terms of things like organisation and baggage handling there just as good as else were

I was told by someone in a travel agents it is. We told her we'd seen some flights on the internet and she said I can't beat that price I'd go with them if I were you. She said she uses them herself.

Well, theyre cheap but not very reliable, i've flown with them three times and one of the times my plane was delayed for 2 days, so we had to find a hotel to stay in until then. And we had to pay. So, overall i would say its better to get a more expensive one because at least your sure that is all you have to pay for!

It's a low cost airline and so you get what you pay for. Just take out the right insurance and you'll be fine. I have never had any problems with them and have worked in travel for nearly 5 years now.

I have never had any problems with them !

They're fine as long as you don't need any assistance/to change your ticket/ have extra baggage etc. Then, they are gits.

blondey
Yeh they are, i work for a company in the aviation industry and we deal with them for a variety of things and they are reliable

No I Would Fly With Air South West Or Flybe

no but its cheap

froggequene
In comparison to what they were 5 years ago, yes they are.

My 'fondest' memory of flying with them was in 2002, I was flying home, departure time came & went without a word from anyone and no sign of an airplane let alone a member of staff. Eventually, a member of staff sauntered up to the departure desk, to pick up a magazine & leave again without saying a word. Two hours after departure time we were informed that our plane was still over Scandanavia & would be there shortly. The person waiting for me at the end of the flight was not a happy bunny.

I think since that time there has been great improvements in communication, the staff are of a much higher quality & they've got this production line where one line customers departs while another is passed through down to a fine art.

You do need to bear in mind that the airports they service in some countries are not particularly central & there may be extra travel involved to get to your destination - this is a particular problem with flights to the Continent I believe.

acardattack
I'd stay away, try southwest if you can

CAR
as good as any other irish airline really

they generally don't cancel flight etc unless of a strike etc and and generally go out and in on time
