Being a Welshman,i find it extremely offencive that you should ask such a question. To consider ANY country offencive until you have actually been there is ridiculous.Do some travelling, visit other countries and then make your decision as to whether a place is "rubbish".To come on here and ask a question like that is plain stupidity. There are many idiots on this site who are more than ready to ridicule people, especially the Welsh for some reason.Just remember one thing, there is good and bad everywhere; even where you come from my friend.Come to Wales and please let me know what you think,i would be very interested to hear your comments. |

The weather is often better than England. Most of the A roads are in excellent condition so driving is easy (although some are windy) and I've never met a Welsh person I didn't like.
I can't believe they actually convinced Brian on Big Brother that Wales doesn't have electricity at all, and he was like "Can't Tony Blair help?" LMAO - stupid boy! |

Ok. I'm Spanish and have never been to Wales but I find your question highly offensive. No country is "rubish" as you call it. But maybe some people are. |

Wales is not a rubbish country, how dare you ask this question, there are some horrible answers to this ----- question. You English ---------- which have sick minds STAY out of beautiful Wales if you hate the Welsh so much as we don't want you here to spoil our beautiful country, and just remember that if you come into Wales just respect our language. Some of the english people come here to live and they think they can take over, the primary schools etc , so stay away or respect us and join in. I travel to Wales every year for a fortnighs holiday from the north of England, and I can say Wales is great. The only drawback is that it is full of welsh people. The reason I say that is, the further west you go in wales, the more ignorant the locals can be to strangers. They rightly speak in the Welsh tongue, but occasionally speak in English, but once they realise YOU are not Welsh, they automatically revert to Welsh. It took us 7 years of going to the same village, in the restaraunts and pub, before one of the locals said " you were here last year" but on telling him "the last 7 years" the locals then started talking to us. This is why I say they are their own worst enemies, and why many people have ill feelings when in Wales. p.s. The Polish are taking over the fast food places, and they are just the same! |
