As a tourist destination it's great but to live there it's a horrible place.

Also, the British media are obsessed with London and focus almost all their attention on it. Scotland could sink without trace and the news would be something to do with the Congestion Charge or the Olympics.

I've lived here all my life and wouldn't move anywhere else.
Question: How come a certain person who states she's never been here has the nerve to answer the question - or perhaps she's just after the points because I can see no other reason to answer - and that's just what has happened - she HASN'T answered the question!

How can you be sick of London? What a wonderful city! The cost makes me sick sometimes but as a whole it's a great place. There is so much to do there and it's well connected to other travel destinations. Free museums, street markets, ethnic restaurants, festivals nearly every weekend...I doubt I'll ever be sick of London.

I love London and the people it is such a great mix!

I'm studying in Cardiff and visit London once every month. And I always feel I dont have enough time to spend there. I think it's a great city, although living there might be different with the high prices and congested traffic.

Yes its awful. Cant think of anywhere in the UK I'd rather be less...

Thank goodness I lived in Cardiff then. Of course, I am Welsh, I would never live in England.
I lived in Cardiff for 8 years, I never grew tired of it.

Sick of London? Move then. I love it.

Bad Church Lady
London is a dirty, miserable, cold, hell-like dump where its sunny and warm for only 1 week per year in July and everyone is arrogant, depressed and unfriendly.

I could not think of a worse place to live in all the world. I would even choose Novaya Zemylya (Siberia) than there. I don't understand why anyone would want to live there, morons!

Absolutely love it! Fantastic culture, museums, galleries etc. Shame about the people!

am slowly doing so, but it's not that too bad come on!

I have only visited London a few times but get sick of it after about 20 minutes

FC
Yes. The traffic is unbelievable. I had to drive up a couple of times last year & the frustration had me in tears. Whichever way you went there was roads closed, traffic jams not moving etc etcc. Imissed my appointment by 2 hours andd I had left in plenty of time. i live in Wiltshire where the pace of life & number of people is way more tolerable.

nozhope
I'd be fine with getting out of the midwest for awhile . . .

chillipope
I only lived there for a year - and within 4 weeks I was sick of it. If I have to spend an hour there now i feel sick too.
