You are being scammed, see below about phone numbers starting with +44 70...

"Scam phone numbers in the United Kingdom (+44):

Most "419" scams using +44 70xx numbers involve emails that are sent from Nigeria and other West African countries, not from the UK! If you see a +44 70xx number in a 419 scam email it usually means you're dealing with criminals based in Nigeria.

UK phone numbers starting with '70' are "Personal numbering" in the "Find me anywhere" range. Charges for calls to these numbers are not distance-dependent. They can cost as much as UKL 0.50 (USD 0.90) per minute to call and can forward the call to virtually any phone number in the world. Forwarding numbers can be set up for free and completely anonymously via websites such as uknumbers.com.

In most cases when you call one of these numbers the phone that starts ringing will actually be a mobile phone somewhere in Nigeria, as the UK number has been programmed to auto-forward calls to another number. These +44 70xx numbers are used as a redirector service to obscure the fact that the person taking the call is not actually based in Europe. The UK number is used to lend credibility to the scam."

Do not have anything to do with this job offer as it is not genuine...

It looks like a valid UK address. But just a note of caution. How many guys do you know that sort out the childcare for their kids? I'm not saying he isn't genuine, but i used to nanny and in my experience it's generally the mother that deals with that sort of thing.

Yes there is a 210 Rye Hill Park. Yes it looks like a valid UK number. Be careful.

Quite obviously you already had your own suspicions about this. From the information already given you'd be best to leave well alone.

There are plenty of reputable companies in London that could fix you up with a job.

Take care.

The phone number is based in the UK but is not a standard number, it is a premium rate one desguised as a mobile!!!

beware the 070..... numbers!!!!

The address however, is correct, a quick search on google maps shows that the post code and street address do tally.

Ask for a landline number or for them to call you.

+44 7045 717149 is a UK telephone number, dialled as 07045 717149 within the UK.

It is neither a normal landline number or a mobile (cell) phone. It is what is called a "personal number" that can be set to forward calls to wherever its owner wants. This could be because they don't want to give out their "real" home or mobile phone number - possibly for genuine reasons, possibly not.

Others have said it looks like a valid address. I can report it is a valid address, from checking the Royal Mail website. And everyone recognises the phone number as a mobile phone, which should be cause for some concern. If he gave you his home land line, you could check that out on BT.com. On the other hand, many legitimate persons have only a mobile phone and no land line now.

MrsO
yes if it starts with +44 that means its a UK number

The number is a mobile number and the +44 would suggest it is a UK number!
