Brighton, the gay capital of England, taking up cricket?. I don't so.

nightcrawler
What? South African cricketers? Living in Brighton??? Damn. Hope they don't monopolise all our gay guys!

nectar_pepsi
"Our cousins who bat for the other side"?

Are you trying to say GAY people? It's ok to say it you know.Try saying it out loud right now - G-A-Y, GAY. It's easier than you think.

Yes there is a large gay population in Brighton. Everyone knows that. What's your point?

badger
yeah there are loads, but people seem to think everyone you meet will be a gay, and theres loads walking about everywhere.
well its not true, you hardly ever see them, and if you do, they are the ones who dont look gay so you wouldnt know the difference!
your own town prob has more gays anyway, seeing as you are askin.

Batting for the other side? That's not cricket, you know, old chap! Not what we Brits do!

But if you mean homosexuals, yes, they are still attracted to Brighton.

I blame the piers myself. Quite phallic.

Yes, a large gay community.

Actually has a low crime rate, you feel safer walking through Brighton town centre at night than in the centre of London.
