No, England is a lovely country and yes sometimes it rains and is unpredictable, but has a character all of its own. I have traveled to many countries that are rainy and foggy, but people don't think of them like that (ie Australia). It is just a preconception that is is always like that. London also probably has the most mild weather and is often warmer than elsewhere around. You can always check the current weather on the BBC website

Eastender
I just looked out the window. it's overcast, but I spied a bit of blue sky.
I live by the river sometimes it gets misty early in the morning.

London was foggy years & years ago.

No.

It is drier than the Sudan. London and the south of England has been soufferung a drought for the past 18 months. Rain is desperately needed.

jailhouserockgurl
Not always but most of the time it is but it is a beautiful place

Draco King of Dragonmen
Can't use always, even Seattle doesn't rain ALL the time. It is generally thought to have wet, cold weather.

BaFfler

howyagonnaknow
they are having a bit of a drought in the london area so no

eucharisto_deo
NO! Although at time it does seem like it!

It does get quite a bit of sun too, and believe you me, it's not a nice place to work when it's hot as it gets muggy and opressive, not to mention the pollution.

Don't let that put you off though. It is a nice place.

The Wanderer
no from a londonr

I've lived here most of my life. No and no. Fog is rare these days although when I was young it was common in winter. It's just bad tempered and busy these days
