We are probably more focussed on the Polish

Not me, they scare me. After knowing that they now float up stairs, anything's possible!

mark
Officially no... and that's all that I can say, except perhaps that you don't need to worry about this kind of thing - but don't tell anybody else OK....

It's the (now lost) episode with the Yeti in the London Underground that really got to me, back in my childhood.

If extraterrestrials are hi-tech enough to get here, we've had it apart from our human ability to be really sneaky and underhand.
There is a genre of SF which plays on this.

Oh I watched Dr Who...great stuff. Is the UK prepared for the invasion of the Daleks. We were not prepared for the morons sitting in Parilment....perhaps we would get more sense out of the Daleks.

I'm prepared to give them a chance as what have we got to lose compared to Gordon Brown and co.

Good Monkey Ten Bananas
Well we're an ISLAND and we couldn't even cope with floods of water!
what does that tell you?! :(

Oli
Don't they run on electricity through the floor or something? Put some rubber mats on the floor, stop 'em dead.

buttonmoon
Weve already been invaded, they work at Houses of Parliment.

The RAF have Typhoons on permanent standby; ready to intercept any extraterrestrial space craft that may try to enter UK air space.

Yes.

They had a practice over south wales earlier in the month when some military or police helicopters chased some alien space ships.

I think I'll be ok if 'pre-being able to climb stairs' Daleks invaided; my house is right in the middle of a freshly ploughed field.
Humanity will be fine...I'll turn my house into a retreat for the survivors.
