uplate
i think they do a rather nice roly poly pudding and a tasty trifle!!!..oh deserts....no not as such though essex can be very dry

Outsider
No, there are some lovely beaches, but definitely no deserts. Wild areas of the UK tend to consist of either hilly and mountainous areas covered with heather ettc, and there are also huge areas of fairly flat moorland, for example in the north of scotland, which is pretty much uninhabitable. But the wild areas are covered in hardy plants such as bracken, heather, tough grasses, reeds etc, and full of wildlife.

greenorlagh
No - although there are many deserted areas such as the Highlands in Scotland.

LOL It rains all the time. It's very geen here apart from a few mountains. I isn't too cold here because of the gulf stream and never gets too hot, so it's probably the last place you would want to look for a desert.

mole
NO

ianhad
I think, legally, we are a desert. Do to our low overall rainfall.
