Yes! we are over run with McDonald's, Kentucky and any other southern fried chicken places( these are the worst as all you see is empty box's that the chicken was in and lots of chicken bones), and lots of Indian (Asia) takeaways, and then there is Chinese take away, also cafe run by various people.
The traditional food like Fish & Chips (french fries to our U.S cousins), and if you are an east londoner Pie & Mash. Then of course there is what the english people cook in there own homes.
There is of course the Posh Resteruants which only money people go in. So as you can see there is a lot of variaty in the food. But as I said the most abundant is these Bloody chicken shops which seem to be every 6th shop along the any shopping street/road/and mall |

You're probably aware of old stereotypes - British people have bad teeth, British food is bad, etc.
Every Briton now has access to free dentistry, so we've got better teeth than we used to have. On the other hand, we're not so obsessed with brilliant, artificial smiles, so our teeth will still seem unremarkable, compared with middle-class American teeth.
As for food, we probably have the best range of restaurants in the world now (especially London). Home cooking is probably not what it used to be - we work bloody long hours (that means lots of women who work and raise kids) so there often isn't the time to shop for food/cook properly. |

Of course, there is food in England!
There are numerous amounts of food that you can eat. From the traditional foods such as fish and chips, or mash and sausages to the cuisines that have brought over from distant lands such as Chinese, Italian, American, West Indian.
Apart from the fact, that food is eaten, loads of foods are grown in England too, such as wheat, tomatoes, potatoes; animals are raised and slaughter over here too, such as cows, sheep's, lambs, fish (taken from the North Sea).
Drinks are made and drunk in this country too. One of the most famous drinks that originated from England is ale. This was a drink that was created from before the Middle Ages, and at one stage was the only drink to drink.
If we didn't eat something within a period of a two weeks, the population of England would be deteriorating fast... So rest assured we are eating and drink over here in Merry England! |

No - there is absolutely NO FOOD in England. Every night, people drove out to either Scotland or Wales for a pint and some pub grub. |

Of course! Lot's of it. Aside from traditional fish and chips and mince meat pies, there are hundreds of restaurants offering foods from all over the world. London especially has foods to satisfy just about any pallet. |

Yes. The best curries in the entire world and classic British delights like Shepherd's Pie. British Roast dinners are delicious and we are the nation that brought you custard. Can you imagine the world without custard? I can't. |
