Isn't this weather 'just typical' for a bank holiday monday in the UK?

I don't know why everyone thinks the weather should be glorious on a bank holiday...is there anything written in stone about it that I missed?

I am delighted it rained. my son and I had a cosy day in watching films and eating ice cream....perfect!

Yep, it rained all day in London - and I think there might have been a james bond film or somewhere...or failing that a carry on film...!

Moonraker was on Saturday if that counts? *LOL* yes typical British bank holiday weather! Had my fire on this morning as was so cold. Tipped down with rain nearly all night last night and almost all day today.
