Big, lots of big buildings and lots and lots of people everywhere. As dangerous as any other big city and ruinously expensive if you want to eat, drink, watch a film, go to an exhibition or anything.

Depending on which part! Don't go South or East. South West is OK such as Wimbledon, and North West is okay Wembley. North is good, like Camden and Definitely Central! ... urrm i think thats about it. If you live in London [like i do] you'll see its not much different to anywhere else in the UK!
Overall its MAJOR busy literally none- stop! but there are good shops, restuarants and tourists attractions! =)

It's great.
Brilliant shops and markets.
Attractions.
Free bus to wherever you want in london. under 18's only.
I don't live that far from where the olimpics are gonna be.
London is just excellent that's why it is so overcrowed!
You should come down and visit. Stay in a travologde and spend the rest of your money shopping and going to places.

London is brilliant, especially at night (not in the dodgy areas obviously)- i mean in the upmarket, tourist spots. China town is amazing at night.

Like any other large urban area-brilliant in places but as sketchy as it gets in others.

Good for museums, art galleries, marvellous parks and green spaces (Regents Park,Hampstead Heath,Richmond Park etc), shopping, music and theatre. London is also a polluted, noisy, sometimes violent place and an unfriendly city other than for the very young. Eating out is excellent though expensive and so are hotels. Public transport is expensive, though the network - Underground, suburban rail and buses is
dense,widespread and frequent.

Love LondON! :)

vambosthirdincarnation
It's a dump.

I lived in Essex all my life ( just moved to Lincolshire ).....But all i can say about London is that its "Nice".... to visit in the day time ..at night its another story....I would never live there.... nights in London are very different to any other place in the UK.... You have sooo many Clubs / pubs to visit it can get a bit OTT at times ..... stick to "Thotenham.? court road"....Shafsbury Avenue..also give the "Hippodrome" a go...its THE best place to be after 10pm...plus the Kebabs are heaven just around the corner , Just watch the chilli...Its HOT...anyway...hope you enjoy your London trip....just be "Street wise"..ok......nuff said.
