since it is raining today i would probably avoid anything outdoors
i would poss either head over to the west end and go to the botanic gardens (if you go in the tropical rooms it feels like summer) also you could go over to the kelvingrove (its free) and have a nosey around.
another option is a visit to the burrell collection in pollok park on the south side, have a look around some of the stuff is amazing, also go for a cup of tea and optional (but highly reccomended slice of chocolate cake) in the cafe and look out on the rain!
also there is the gallery of modern art in town - not only a good free museum but you get to laugh at all the silly looking emo kids hanging about outside trying to look all alternative but actually looking rather identical!!
erm what else....bit random but get an all day bus ticket and a bus map and just jump on random busses and explore glasgow....i did that one day and ent to the most random places!
hope that helps....have fun!! |

Take the sight seeing tour bus, go to the transport museum and kelvingrove art gallery. If it's nice then visit a few of the beautiful parks in Glasgow. Have a wander round the city centre and go to the barras at the weekend. There is also the burrell collection and the peoples palace to visit. Sure you will find something to keep you entertained! |

Cineworld is awesome, you could also try the art Gallery. There's a huge concert hall as well, you could book something there. |

Go bus hopping, have an inexpensive lunch, take in a movie. I could find lots of things to do that wouldn't cost the earth. |

catch a train to Balloch and enjoy a day on the bonnie banks. If the weather is nice, head down the Ayrshire coast to Troon, Prestwick or Ayr itself. |
