Just to re-iterate I have been offered a job as a Doctor in Los Angeles, and yes the weather is gorgeous and the lifestyle lovely but I still love England even though its going to the dogs, cant decide!

Well I live in LA and I find it also going to the dogs....the housing prices are skyrocketing and everything is becoming expensive also. London is similar (living expenses, etc..). So for me either one is neither better than the other. It just depends on which place you feel that you will be happier at.

I would go for LONDON, b/c the ppl in L.A. are so fake..You can travel around if you need sun..LOL

Chris F
London= REALLY expensive, lots of rain (which I could get used to)

LA = also expensive (not as bad as London), crowded, Smoggy/polluted, Spanish speaking would probably be mandatory in a matter of years.

I pick London, and I am american

JUAN G
I fully understand that you deeply love "England" your homeland and perhaps you're homesick for it.Do as your heart tells you.if you miss England, why not returning? about LA I guess you love it 'cause London lacks many sunny days that the city of Los Angeles offers.me in particular, dislike LA and the whole state of California.I prefer Florida all the way.

kitkat
Hmmmmm sun or rain? Errrmm that would be sun!!!!

If you know UK is going to the dogs then why stay? Everyone else wants to leave and can't!!!!!!

I wouldn't want to live in L.A. under any circumstances; lack of green spaces in the city; poor public transport and virtually no trains out into the countryside and virtually no where I'd be allowed tp hike when I got there; no BBC Radio 4 in L.A. either

I'd pick LA 10x over LOL

london is more expensive not by much though i would go with la since you are being offered a job as a doctor which is a awesome paying job in the u.s L.A all the way

UKdancer

What is that even a question why do bother considering?

LA forever, sun, cheap food, it is 5000% better the the UK
Oh i so wanna go to USA just for a day.....

MJ
The person that said 'London is the most beautiful place on earth', needs her head examining. London is ok, but not that amazing.

I think you should go to California. You can always come back to the UK in a few years time if you get fed up with LA; that option will never go away. Go and enjoy yourself for a few years in the sun.

el nino
IF i had the option, which you DO.SOD the weather England IS the place to be and with your occupation is much more needed here in England, not greatly appreciated i know but you should get the satisfaction of doing your job and helping people.

if the position u've been given is better paid and u enjoy it their then i would move out their and still visit england. Also when ur m8s + family go on holiday u could probably save them on hotels.

à®â™¥P u S s y CaT♥à®â™¥is a mummy!!!
GOD LA for suuuuuuree!!! London is not London anymore and the weather makes u miserable and its always raining whereas u get the sunshine and the celebrity life style in La , i wish i were you i would've been in the plane on my way rather than being here!!

Reppin Lockleaze
why either???

i say maldives, lovely derelict beaches and serenity

and chance of getting stabbed or shot is like 0.0000000000000001%

They are both crap. Much better places in the world to live if you have a choice.
