No. The man is suppose 2 provide for the family. Both should work 2 have larger income

Yes, I would only if I made more than enough income to cover bills, and basics like food...etc.
If we were struggling to keep our heads above water, then he would have to get up and get a career, not just a job!

Depends on why the man aint got a job.. How does he support his kids?

Uh, no, sorry. He's gotta bring home most of the bacon. I hate having the majority of responsibility

That wouldn't be an issue with me. It would be a plus.

Negative.

My mans gotta work just the way it goes. =)

goodbye
it really depends on what women you're asking. there are so many variables (age range, relationship status, beliefs on marriage, & etc.)

i would not.

sistahkittycat
Honestly no. Personally, I have somewhat traditional views on mens' place in society, and their place is in the workforce doing whatever they can to support their wife and/or kids.

As long as you're not planning on being a stay at home mom, I see no problem with it.

Reinvention
I don't think I would personally. But then again I'm only 21 and not thinking about getting married any time soon!! haha. The reasons why I would not marry a stay at home dad is because it would imply that he was more lazy. I am also pretty old fashioned, whether others agree or not, I think if there is a stay at home parent it should be the mother. Or BOTH!...It shouldn't just be the dad that gets to stay at home. Granted, if he doesn't want to work everyday he has his right. And it is sweet he wants to look after the kids. However, children also need their mom as well. I would marry him if he was ambitious, had other goals in his life other than being a father. Being a father is definitely GREAT don't misunderstand me. However, I want to lead a life that is about experiences as well, and experiences go far beyond that.
