Oooh...you have to go on a RYB Voyage. Its this little 12 seater speed boat that zooms up and down the Thames and gives you a tour of the riverside at the same time! Its awsome fun, thats if you like whizing around in speed boats close to the water. It was £15 for half an hour, that was this summer, so prices may have gone up a bit. You are given water proof life jackets too. Their office is right next to the London eye on the right hand side....so after...you can go on the London eye! Then...walk a few more paces to your right and you will find the London Aquarium.
Nearest station is Waterloo, but if you go to embankment, you can walk down Charring cross (do some shopping), then cross over waterloo bridge, down by the strand. If you get peckish...pop up to Covent Garden (signposted by waterloo bridge) and go in Henry's for some lunch and drinks.
Enjoy!
Also, Check out London's Timeout Magasine for all club, pub, restaurant, show, cinema, gig listings and other touristy info. |

A guide: http://www.enjoyengland.com/where/destinations/london/dg.aspx
I'd say do this:
Go on the London Eye
Walk from there to the Duck Tours bus stop by the old GLA building - http://www.londonducktours.co.uk/
Go on their tour of the river and city by bus
Go to a nice comfortable resturant or pub - use http://www.timeout.com/london to find one - and then plan the rest of your stay based on the places you want to see more of from the tour. |
