well now thats a first :) nice to hear somone wants to spend their new year a little different.. well i live in Manchester, the council have set up lots of different things to do over the festive season.. they have opened up and Open Air Ice Rink, kept cinemas open for 24 hours.. and put up the big wheel as we know it.. plus they are doing late night shopping untill 12...one of our Rival Argos stores was open till 12 the other night... if the store i work for was open that long.. we would have took the money believe me.. or maybe go for a meal :D celebrate the new year that way.. there is so much :D |

My boyfriend and I are booked in at the OXO tower restaurant for a stunning 5 course meal and wine and a boogie at the brasserie after.
This will be 100% better then a pub or club and I would recommend this to anyone staying in London. Try this website http://www.london-eating.co.uk/ for all the best places to be this new years eve! I have used this a few times to find a restaurant and it is very good because the comments are form people like you or me
Hope you have a fab time and steer well clear of those over expensive pubs and clubs!!!
Happy New Year |

Possibly go out and have something to eat. Depending on your budget, you can go out and have a nice meal somewhere, possibly with a live band and be on your way home by midnight [or maybe even before!] Try Gary Rhodes' Rhodes W1 in Marble Arch, London. |

Stay at home invite a few close friends. If you have drinks don't buy too many. So no one gets drunk. |

How many 'new years' - en Londres - do you have in mind? But seriously - how about just watching the crowds strut their stuff, then walk home taking in the atmosphere...however - I suggest before the new year aura disappears, perhaps a visit to an English writers' college would not do you any harm...or even ne arm. If of course you hail from said city, then excuse my provincial ignorance...should (k)no(w) better. |

do what I do ever year! dig out the stained paper crown form last year! Peal back a peice of the tin foil you have on the window to let the nazi death signals in. Get completly naked and rub your body in paint thinner till it stings and cut your self like a paper shredder!!!
The pain makes you know your alive and peeling the foil back lets them see what you have become!
Yes Mother....... You Can watch too!! They've stoped me form keeping animals.. look at me now Mother ahhhhh the pain!! now for the electric shocks to really get this party started!!!
but if that doesn't tickle your fancy you could try drinking till the voices stop! |
