Each rotation takes 30 mins, meaning a capsule travels at a stately 26cm per second, or 0.9km (0.6 miles) per hour - twice as fast as a tortoise sprinting; allowing passengers to step on and off without the wheel having to stop.

psych_78
It takes 30minsfor one rotation! As to whether it stops the answer is no! But it goes slow enough for people to get on and off so it does feel like it is stopping!!

Maid Angela
about 20 mins I think and mo it does not stop but it moves quite slowly so you get on and off quite easily

You can be on it for around 20-25 minutes, depending on how long it takes for others to get on/off. If a buggy or wheelchair gets on, they will stop it til they are on. Just admire the views, take some photos & have a great day out. I've been twice, so I know it's great.

meltonmagnascoutgroup
30-45 MINS

about 30 minutes slows down when your cabin gets to the exit but its safe enough for you to step off safely

i helped build it ,look on the top of car 22 you will see my name and date of birth scratched on top of the car outside ....btw wear a safety harness

hornethodge
it doesn't need to stop for getting on and off as it's moving slowly. takes about 35 mins to do one revolutuion.

Lucylu
i think its about 30 mins, and no it doesnt stop, it keeps going round, but dont worry its really slow- i took my nan (shes quite young) but she managed it ok!

olivegreen
One revolution takes 30 mins. Normally they don't stop it if you get off, but if you have difficulty walking or are in a wheelchair or something they will.

nosdda
Never timed how long it took, but it does move very slow. It does not stop, but it moves so slow that it is no problem getting on or off.

TJ
I believe it was 30 minutes and it stops at all the major attractions you can see from each piont, its really cool. And yes it does stop to let you on and off. Make sure you have a camera or even binoculars because there is a lot to see.

Ali baba and the 40 thieves!
30-40 mins. And yes it kinda does stop, well it moves a bit but very slowly.

It takes 30 minutes and yes, it stops to get on and off. You will will have to queue. It's the tallest observation wheel in the world and thousands of peolpe visit it every day. Owned by British Airways.

The London Eye takes around 30-35 minutes. When you enter and leave your capsule the Eye wont stop, its not too difficult to get off as it isnt moving too fast. But of course if there is someone with a disability then of course they will stop it for them to get on. Hope this helps, and belows some more info.

Riley Blue
4.5 seconds per revolution. and no it doesn't stop.....Gotta be quick to get on but comming off you can just jump in the thames!

SHADOW
its takes almost an hour, no it does not stop

Robertuke
i think about 10-15minutes

i'm bored and fed up
5 hours
