If you have the money and are willing to spend it on a 30-minute "flight" (as they call it!), yes, it is worth it, I think. I went on a summer's day when there were long queues, but they moved quickly as the Wheel is in constant motion - not too fast, but you can easily step into your pod as it continues going round. From then on it depends with whom you're stuck - we had a poor little baby screaming all the way round... (Please don't take a baby on it!)

If you're restricted season-wise, you can probably do it in a morning if you get there early - including time waiting to buy tickets, queuing and trip. The views are worth seeing - you can even see as far as Windsor Castle on a clear day, and for this reason I would say don't book in advance as you never can tell what the weather's going to be like!

A friend of mine went out of season in winter; she said it really was lovely - no queuing, straight on the Wheel, and the lights of London town were magnificent.

I found it from £13.00 adults, £6.50 children. However, there are deals for the London Eye and entry to other attractions at a greater price but work out cheaper in the end.

After you go on the London eye...make sure you go on again at night...spectacular! I didn't find it that expensive.

Never been, but it's for tourists so expect to get ripped off. :)

I enjoyed it, it's a bit pointless but I still liked it, give it a go, there's loads to do in that area.

yes it's worth going on. it depends when you go as to how long you have to wait. try to go early.

Adult £13.50, Child £7.00

you can book in advance and save 10% but I didn't want to because I wanted to pick a clear day

Yeah but expensive... £18 I think..;

if in a couple you could be the second to christen it.

Also check out the view from Alexandra Palce in Norht London near Wood Green tube. (ok bus ride from there)

We were in London two weeks ago and went for a ride on the Eye. While the view was pretty nice, I don't now if I'd necessarily recommend it. Each capsule seats 20 people, and I felt like I had to fight my way around them to check out the view.

Climbing to the top of St. Paul's Cathedral will probably offer a similar view and cost less.

YES it is only like 20 pounds. Great way to see the great city of LONDON

i thought that it was very cramped, and a bit boring as i couldnt see alot of london

but go and do it and make a trip out of it and go to other places in london on the same day

It's about 12 pounds and it lasts for 40 minutes
but you have 2 queues to go through first and they are one hour each......

it's a nice experiance..... but only if you have the time and money to waste!!!
