I was born and brought up in London (not Essex!), but I've had the pleasure and privilege of living in other cities all over the world including Florence, Miami, Berlin and Amsterdam. I can honestly say that there is nowhere else quite like London. Maybe I am biased but I think that it beats any other city in the world hands down - nowhere else in the world is so multicultural. It offers a huge mix of entertainment, history, opportunity, sport, culture and lets not forget oodles of fun. OK it's not perfect - but nowhere is. |

I wouldn't mind a house abroad, but I would want to leace england permanently. It's my home, and London is a fantastic place. |

Don't let us keep you if you really want to go.
It's all a matter of opinion and taste, but if you're tired of London why not try one of the cities in England? There's a lot of vibrant life and whizz in Leeds, Manchester etc.
Most large European cities have thier own problems. |

The only BAD thing about London are the clowns that are running the town halls, city hall and central government (as well as certain gov't departments), the police, the public transport system etc
Next year is an ideal opportunity to 'Kick these clowns out' or as the ex tory minister once said 'on your bike' |

Not a big fan of the labour party. Moved to Thailand 5 years ago. Love it. Might come back to the UK one day but I've grown accustomed to genuine freedom (absence of a nanny-state/the government telling me what to think and do all the time). |

I did at one time and London was one of the top three. I guess it depends on where in London you'd want to live--and if you have the money to do it. |

Believe me....You think the grass is greener abroad.....Think again.....We have just returned to England after 10 years....We never want to live abroad again......As for the crime...Its just as bad elsewhere....As for the weather....we used to love the sun..Towards the end we were glad to get out of It as much as possible.......London may be hectic, but its only natural, Its the capital of the world....Why don't you move somewhere else in England,,,,,,There are lots of beautiful places to live........Long Live England.......Yes...... |

Yes, move out and make a bit more space for the millions who want to come here.
Exactly how do you define 'finished'?
And of course if you move abroad, you become an immigrant so others have a chance to resent and hate you. |

Thats exactly what I did. I lived in Essex for 23 years and just got so sick of the taxes ect over there. I now live in the US where it really is "the land of the free." Plus people are not rude and arrogant towards othere here either like in England |

London is going through a mini crisis at the moment this is partially due to a Marxist administration led by Ken Livingstone but the future is bright you can vote this clown out next year |
