Some truly great pictures which show why those of us who live here think it is the greatest city in the world - pity some of the great sites are missing (Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Oxford street at Christmas etc. etc. etc.) but perhaps those could be in the future.

a load of flashing lights and big buildings do not make london great, it is the classic landmarks and green spaces.

I suppose it looks impressive from the air but when you're down there it seems like a dirty, overcrowded dump full of the rudest people on earth. I hate London.
