LOL, yeah see what you mean, maybe the person who put them there was sea sick or had a couple of drinks before installation, pretty funny though lol! :)

Lovely, scenic in my opinion.

I love them, they look great, cut down on fossil fuel use, are a talking point and so elegant. Have seen many wind farms from here and across Europe, think they're all great, not seen an ugley eyesore of one yet.

I would be proud to have them near where I live.

You don't put them in a straight line to harness the full potential of the weather.

I like them, we've got them in Liverpool Bay.

gembolatino
I like them too. If they put them in a straight line the wind would hit one of the strong, then the next one weaker and the next..etc. As they're scattered the wind hits them all strongly and therefore creates more power.

Laura F
I like them, they look rather scenic.

Minxy
Don't see a problem with them - better than a coal fired power station.

Nick P
I could put up with them for cheaper electric!

Scenic. Giant sculpture.

In this big world of ours, there are thousands and thousands of kilometres of sandy beaches where you can stare out on an empty horizon. Anyone whose finely honed aesthetic sense is offended by those wind turbines, can go look at the sea just about anywhere else!

I know there's lots of nutters around who despise wind turbines. It seems that's often because said nutters have got it into their heads that someone is suggesting they're the whole answer to renewable electricity generation when they obviously are not.

I think they're attractive and I see no reason why they shouldn't be yet another man-made addition to the landscape (and seascape) of Britain, so much of which is man-made in the first place.

I think they are OK.

Beautiful - like daisies.

We may have to learn to love them if we don't already, it's the way of the future and better for our planet. We should be doing all we can to harness energy from other sources such as wind and solar power.

Katie F
Having read the Guardian article about the amount of nuclear material unaccounted for in the world, I think a few wind turbines are a far safer investment

Reggie
Hi Scooby I think they are scenic?

Pedestal42
Scenic, when they are an occasional striking feature.

When you are near one group and you can see two others you start to see what wind-farm madness can turn into.
(I'm on the edge of Bodmin Moor)

And since every report has pointed out (and the government has pointedly ignored) the more we have the less economical they are, because of the base-load problem, unless we discover how to store electricity in industrial size quantities, many may turn out to be white elephants.

We wont get many more gold medals in sailing if they keep on slapping them up all over the shop but they do keep those micro lights on the ground on the moors, so they are okay in my book look good too.
