The Manchester Musuem down Oxford road is free to get in and has loads of things like fossils and stuff. If you like that sort of thing!!
Science and Industry Museum at Castlefield,
Stop off at the printworks at the back of the Arndale centre where you can get a drink, something to eat or watch a film.
The gay village is good as so is china town for something to eat or drink

The only reason any of my friends go to Manchester is to shop. The rest is ugh. I always go to Liverpool, never been disappointed, you can't not find somewhere to go.
