Right i am still in the process of trying to get out of London. I ve been considering other places mainly in Scotland, However someone suggested Manchester. I ve never been to Manchester. I know renting a flat is cheaper than London but appart from that what does Manchester have that London hasn'tt?

I used to live in Manchester and the only reason I would go back is for all the live music and concert venues! Oh and they get more snow and did i mention they have the best football team?! |

i live near Manchester and work there.... been up 'ere for 4 years now, and i love it. Manchester centre is growing and is full of life. people are friendly and happy folks. night life is good, and hardly any trouble... for all different tastes. shopping is amazing, restaurants diverse and superb... (all good value) it is a cosmopolitan city full of life, and less stress than in London.. (too busy for me)
i live just outside Manchester and commute into work. the schools are good, and like anywhere has a lot of nice areas to live... but to me the people make a place... |

I lived in London for years, am currently in the middle of relocating to Manchester (from Newcastle), its a great city, It has a great night life bars restuarants shops etc same as London, it has a much warmer friendlier vibe than London |
