Well, this is very easy. Sorry but no according to new british law you will have to live in the uk for more than 7 years inorder to even start applying for a british passport, and as for support, my wife is chinese so i looked on the homeoffice website which i have attached below under sources, our child will only be able to apply for one nationality chinese or british also to answer all of the idiots which have said that you can apply for dual nationality, the homeoffice had forbid that from happen in the cold war, sorry about 5 years plus i know it was way befor i came to china and that was more than 5 year ago, anyway best to check on the website and asked but i can more or less guarrentee you that you cant she would only be able to apply for a turkish passport because your both turkish.

Hi,they brought in a new law your baby will not get a UK passport.I know 100% this is the truth as we had friends from Libya come to England there baby was born & they lived here for 2years.She was not given dual nationality.

sarell
That was the case but now things are changing and have changed even as we speak so it is better to find out at the Embassy or home office to get up to date facts.

You have to be a legally recognised resident in Britian for a child born here to get a British passport.

No not unless her grandparents were British citizens or had some other qualifying reason.Try www.fco.gov.uk for a complete answer.Being born in a country doesnt make you a citizen of that country.Soon maybe Turkey will be in the EU and you wont have to worry about visa's and stuff like that.Good luck and please take no notice of rude answers

If your child was born here, then I think it would be entitled to dual nationality.
I don't think to come here, just to have your child would be permitted though
