Depends where your going some country's require you to have at least 6 months left on your passport. |

u should get it done now, i know a few countries you need 6 months left on it when you leave their country. My kids went to cuba with their dad and my daughter was 2 days shy of 6 months and i had to get her a new one or they wouldnt have let her come home. If not check out the coutries rules you're thinking of going to. But its better to be safe than sorry in these circumstances |

you can apply at any time and not lose out. I think you need at least 6 months left if going abroad. |

Having worked for an airline I can confirm you definitely require at least 6months on your passport validity to travel internationally. The busiest periods for the passport office are over the summer so it depends on your dates for travelling. If it is within 3 months - I would definitiely renew it immediately.
You can off course pay additional money and |

I have just renewed my passport. It took a week to come back (well done passport office). Mine was to run out next April, this is carried over onto new passport, so i now have an 11 year passport. Do it now then book a late deal when you get new one |

As soon as possible. At the moment it may be processed in a few weeks but -
Have you thought about possible industrial action?
Why wait?
Do it NOW and you will have no worries (as the Australians say!)
Several countries insist that there are at least 6 months left before expiry or you will be excluded. Your current passport may already be useless for these countries.
DO IT NOW!
(try using the spell checker! - "aboad") |

Get a new one now. This way you can use it when you go away later in the year. Many countries insist on the passport having at least six months to run before they let you travel apparantly. In our experience this is rubbish unless you are applying for visas for work. |

apply for one now because in October the new ID laws change and you will have to submit loads of documentation to prove who you are etc |

Most places require that you have at least 6 months to run on your passport, so you wouldn't be able to use it now. To be on the safe side, get one now. |

As soon as possible because since there was so much traveling recently there has been a major backlog. Do it now. |

As long as your passport is still valid for the date of your return you will be OK - or you could go to your local passport office and obtain a passport "over the counter" - this costs a little more but they add on the time you have left on your passport - therefore if you went to a passport office in early September it would be valid for 10 years and over 4 months - I did this as I was not sure when I was going to return to the UK so took no chances ! |

I would honestly do it ASAP `cos our big brother government will be introducing fingerprints & DNA tests for passport applications in the very near future - be warned |

right now and some countries wont let you in if you are not covered for 6 months |

Contact the place you would do that and ask what the waiting period is to get the new one, tell them what you situation is and ask them when you should apply..Good Luck.. |

It would depend on the individual company you travel with.
Most companys like at least 3 months left on a passport in case for whatever reason you are delayed returning.
The passport agency will reward with you extra time on your passport if you apply early.
Hope this helps xx |

You can apply anytime now. Best to allow 3 months to get maximum time and any delay in processing. |

you wont be allowed to fly out if your passport runs out during your holiday and I think you have to go to peterborough in person now for a new passport. |
