Luton is easier as you can get a train into London Bridge directly. |

Luton is quickest. First Capital Connect trains take you from Luton Airport Parkway direct to Kings Cross, London City Thameslink (near St Pauls) Blackfriars and London Bridge. There's a shuttle bus between the terminal and the station at Luton.
Stansted takes longer but has more comfortable trains into Liverpool Street. Stansted Airport station is linked directly to the terminal. |

Equally with Stansted you can get a train direct to London Liverpool Street. I would say either is equally easy - it dependes on where you want to go in London as to which one to choose assuming costs are similar |

Both have direct links to London via bus and rail. Luton is that bit closer to London though, so will of course be less of a journey, and I'm sure most people would agree its nice to cut the post-flight journey down by as much as possible! |

Neither, Heathrow is in London - jump on the tube 20 mins you're in the heart of Town. (Leicester square, Covent garden etc.) |

Luton is easier you can get off the train at Kings cross which is pretty central. It takes about 30 minutes on a fast train, or you can get a coach into London, its also cheaper then travelling from Stanstead!
Its a nightmare trust me Im from near Heathrow and when I go on holiday I always have to use a different airport! |

I would fly to Stansted. I've flown to both airports and I found it was less complicated getting to central London from Stansted. You can take the Stansted Express, which takes you directly to central London. Luton Airport only has a bus service that I know of and it takes a lot longer than the train from Stansted. |

Neither City Airport is best but there are rail links from all airports |

Stanstead you can get a train to Liverpool Street (City - on central/circle lines) and Luton gets you into London Bridge (Jubilee and Northern lines). If you go to www.railtrack.co.uk you'll be able to see train times and how long they take. You can also get a coach from Stanstead to London. To be honest there's not that much between London Bridge and Liverpool Street (once you get over London Bridge it's only about a 15 min walk to Liverpool Street) so i'd go with what's the quickest and most convenient. |
