Cardiff is a small city but with lots to see. There is the castle right in the middle, near the museum and civic centre. If you are interested in sport there is the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Bay is good, lots of places to eat ( Mimosa's is excellent) and you might see Dr.Who or Torchwood being filmed. Lots of shops in Cardiff , big chain stores and small independent ( look in one of the many arcades) Hope you have a fab time and that the sum shines for you. If it does take a water taxi from the Bay over to Penarth - great trip.

Cardiff Castle - guided tours only. Pricey £7.50 adults, £4.50 children.

Victorian shopping arcades & all usual shops.

Museum restricted due to repairs.

W/E 14/15 July International Food & Drink festival at Cardiff Bay. Bay has restaurants etc, but not so good in the rain.

www.cardiff.gov.uk for links and What's On

well you arent going to have any shortage of places to go - see everything.

the little parades of shops down the back of the highstreet are fab.
