No, Ireland should be Ireland, they have been independent of British rule since the 20's. However, Ireland should not be united. N. Ireland is now an established independent country, with ties to Britain I agree. But how would people born in N. Ireland feel if their country was taken away due to politics? Let things remain as they are.

We have to back Brits - all over the world - from the Falklands, to Gibralta, to N.I.
Everyone else should come second.

yes i would like the hole country to be part of our country that way there would be no augments about Ireland not being united and we would get to be apart of ireland and ireland would be part of us. so we would be a bigger country as one. remeber united we stand divided we fall.

but it is there choice at the end of the day.and i would welcome the choice for us to be united as one.

Frankly I couldn't care less. But as the majority of Northern Ireland people want to remain part of the UK then I guess that's how it should stay.

I live in Northern Ireland and i am English I think that people here have very little in common with anywhere else in the U.K or Eire.When I first came here fifteen yeras ago it was hugely different going to the south - very relaxed felt great the minute I got over the border as if I coudlnt believe the tension I had been carrying now it has relaxed here and speeded up there adn there isnt a feelgood factor any more.

I want to be a world citizen I hate all this jingoism about countries - I dont care if we become all ireland all UK or all europe - I just hate all the competitiveness about countries.There is no real border and pounds and euros are more interchangeable than trying to give in a Northern Ireland pounds sterling banknote in England - Its all crazyeee

I would not mind if it was part of the UK, just means there are more people to make the UK stronger really so long as everyone is happy about it, it is up to them really.

To be honest i don't really know. I think id have to have more knowledge on the issue to make a proper decision.

Im not really bothered if the republic of ireland is part of the UK or not.

No i would not like to see the R.O.I. in the U.K. and i don't give a shite what happens in the R.O.I. As for a united Ireland that is a decision for the people of Ulster

This is a question that has had no answer for hundreads of years resulting in thousands of lives lost. The Protestant majority in the north wish to remain British and aslong as that is the case then no one should interfere otherwise. Lets all just be thankfull that the days of Irish terror attacks both in the UK and Ireland are over
