Take the District or Circle line tube to Tower Hill, then Docklands light Railway to Greenwich. If you want 'tourist' Greenwich, the best stop is Cutty Sark. If you want a really nice trip, take the tube (same line) to Westminster, and get a Boat trip from Westminster Pier. It's something that all visitors to London should do at least once.

Bosh n pecs and Traceys routes are both just as good as I have suggested.

I get the tube to Bank and connect with the DLR to Greenwich. This is just a short walk from the next stop, the Cutty Sark which is much more busy with people and shops.
The Jubilee line only goes to North Greenwich, the Dome as it used to be called is positioned here and it is further away from the DLR stop called Greenwich.

From Victoria you could take the train to Lewisham and then get the DLR. Try the Transport for London wesite - very useful for helping plan journeys and will tell you about any engineering works on your route.
